Lindsey Buckingham: Q Magazine has named Lindsey Buckingham's Gift Of Screws in their year-end list of the Best Albums of 2008. Coming in at #41, the magazine says that “while some tracks are classic Mac, Bel Air Rain and Great Day are spikier and built on atmosphere.”

Lindsey Buckingham: Ultimate Guitar has just interviewed legendary guitarist / singer-songwriter Lindsey Buckingham, giving an in-depth look into his latest solo effort, Gift Of Screws — out now via Reprise Records.

Q: Will Fleetwood Mac be performing songs from your solo album?

A: ”Well, that’s a good question. We are talking about rehearsing in January and doing some dates in the spring. So I might have to get back to you on that. Politics can be a little bit tricky in Fleetwood Mac from time to time. Certainly there are a number of songs on Gift of Screws which are appropriate to be done by Fleetwood Mac especially since there are the players on there. But I guess we’re just gonna have to wait and see where the group sensibility wants us to go.”
