Lindsey Buckingham: Ultimate Guitar has just interviewed legendary guitarist / singer-songwriter Lindsey Buckingham, giving an in-depth look into his latest solo effort, Gift Of Screws — out now via Reprise Records.

Q: Will Fleetwood Mac be performing songs from your solo album?

A: ”Well, that’s a good question. We are talking about rehearsing in January and doing some dates in the spring. So I might have to get back to you on that. Politics can be a little bit tricky in Fleetwood Mac from time to time. Certainly there are a number of songs on Gift of Screws which are appropriate to be done by Fleetwood Mac especially since there are the players on there. But I guess we’re just gonna have to wait and see where the group sensibility wants us to go.”

Lindsey Buckingham: Legendary songwriter / guitarist Lindsey Buckingham is set to release his fifth solo album, Gift Of Screws, on September 16th via Reprise Records.

The album features Fleetwood Mac alumni Mick Fleetwood and John McVie, and while it is an extension of Buckingham’s Fleetwood Mac legacy, Gift of Screws is a rocking complement to his previous solo works and showcases his noted virtuosity as a guitarist, singer and writer.
